Must Haves For the Second Month of Mommyhood
Amelia is officially TWO MONTHS OLD .. WHAT! I’m so obsessed with this girl. I definitely feel like this second month has been easier than the first, thanks to a handful of products! Some of these i’m mad that I didn’t have during the first month.
Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer: hand sanitizer is necessary at any time with a newborn, but I have to share my love for this brand! This alcohol-free sanitizer doesn’t dry out your hands and it smells good too.
Hands Free Pumping Bra: would you believe me if I told you that I used to pump one side at a time for multiple weeks because I didn’t have one of these? Yeah I was insane, and pumping for almost an hour each session.
This bra is pretty cheap from Amazon, but it does the job and it does it well!
4moms mamaRoo: I get asked all of the time if we like our mamaRoo, and the answer is YES. There’s not much I would get done if it weren’t for this thing. Most things I can get done while holding Amelia, but making lunch or dinner or showering, these things I cannot do with her attached to me. Also it puts her right to sleep, every time!
These are a bit pricey, from what i’ve seen the best price is here on Amazon.
Pacifier Clips: So far we have only lost ONE pacifier, and it wasn’t so much lost as it was eaten by Lilly. Pacifier clips make it so much easier to keep track of them and these clips from January Moon are my favorite thing ever. They are unique, beautiful, and they have so many color options. I got this one for Amelia for Valentine’s Day, and I can’t wait to get more!

Medela SoftShells for Sore Nipples: Last but certainly not least, nipple shields. WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME TO BUY THESE BEFORE AMELIA ARRIVED?! Seriously guys, WTF.
A friend told me about these after a couple weeks of wanting to die, especially in the beginning when your nipples are so sensitive! These are like a little dome that protect your sanity. They look a little funny under shirts, but its worth it!
You can find these on Amazon, you’re welcome!
